Garware Offshore inks pact with Norway co

Shipping services firm Garware Offshore Services LtdĀ said on Tuesday it has signed a contract with Norway's Havyard Leirvik AS for constructing a Platform Supply Vessel.

Garware Offshore has placed an order with Havyard Leirvik for constructing the vessel, having a Rolls Royce UT755L design and to be delivered in March 2008, it informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Havyard Leirvik is a fully integrated shipyard, which build a wide range of specialised vessels for customers, including vessels for offshore supply, icebreakers, research and fishing.

The shares of Garware Offshore Services were trading at Rs 92.10, up 1.26 per cent at the BSE.
