Eighty seats in each four-weekly Boeing-777 flights operating from the metropolis would now be sold at a promotional fare of Rs 4,000 from Kolkata to Singapore and back, and at Rs 6,000 for Kolkata-Singapore-Kuala Lumpur or Penang or Bangkok and back, Bharath Mahadevan, manager, airlines, Eastern India, said.
The normal fare for the Kolkata-Singapore flight is a little over Rs 11,000 and for that to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and back over Rs 18,000.

However, taxes and other terms and conditions would apply, Mahadevan added.
The sale of tickets for the promotional offer would remain open from July 5 to July 15 and would remain valid for travel between July 22 and August 19 in the 'economy' class only.
The offer was for off-season business and to promote tourist traffic as well as West-bound passengers.
The airline has tied-up with two five-star hotel chains, Copthorne and Millennium, in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, for lodging at a subsidised rate of Rs 2,250 per night per room, Mahadevan said.
The Airline at present operates 52 flights a week. Of these, 14 flights are from Mumbai, seven each from Delhi and Chennai, and three each from Bangalore, Amritsar and Ahmedabad, besides those from Kochi, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram.
