August 27, 2007 15:03 IST

The Disney channel is conducting a country wide, in school interaction programme as a part of their promotional activities.

"The programme named "Masti Ki Pathshala", would reach out over one million children in 25 cities in more than 900 schools across the country in a bid to popularise the channel among the kids aged 6-14 years," said Puja Nikam, public relations, Walt Disney Television International (India).

The programme started in the mid June this year and would cover 65 schools across Kolkata.

This programme is a unique platform that encourages kids to express themselves while interacting with their favourite stories and endearing characters and this year we are going to tire two markets as well say to say a big "thank you" to kids there who have embraced our channel in a special way," said Nikam, who was speaking with the media at Sabera Foundation School in Kalitala, 24 Pargana South.
