Bharat Earth Movers has posted a 4 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 18.07 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2003 compared with Rs 17.36 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
Total income has increased 16 per cent to Rs 833.47 crore (Rs 8.33 billion) from Rs 719.75 crore (Rs 7.19 billion).
The company has posted a 250 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 18.76 crore in FY03 as compared to Rs 5.35 crore in FY02.
The total income rose to Rs 1723.1 crore from Rs 1440.96 crore.
