Indian American named CSC's India head

Indian American Bala Mahadevan has been named president of the Information Technology firm Computer Sciences Corporation'sĀ India operations.

In his capacity as the president, Mahadevan will be responsible for the financial and operational performance of the unit, including the management of more than 7,000 professionals that provide product development, application management and remote infrastructure services within

the region.

He replaces Tom Kenyon, who has been interim president for the past 12 months and will be returning to a senior role in North America.

Mahadevan has a bachelor of engineering degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India.
