Airtel customers will be able to enjoy Disney entertainment programmes on their mobile phones under an agreement between the operator and Disney Mobile Theatre.

The new offering was launched by cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, a company statement issued in Kolkata on Tuesday said.

With this, Airtel customers will be able to access six Disney animated series of 30 seconds tailored for mobile devices.

Disney characters can also be accessed in the form of images, animations, videos, ringtones and games.

"The launch of Disney branded mobile content on Airtel, including Disney Mobile Theatre and personalisation, content and games ... would create an engaging and unique mobile experience for India customers," executive vice president and MD (International) Walt Disney Internet group said.
