Swiss bank money led to stocks boom: Modi

March 30, 2009

Talking to press after inaugurating the Areva T&D factories at Kotamba on the outskirts of Vadodara, Modi said that the national security advisor M K Narayanan had cautioned in 2007 that terror money was responsible for the stock exchange boom then.

"I am writing a letter to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today requesting him to raise the issue of black money strongly at G20 meeting, to be held in London on April 2 and will ask him to provide details of the Indian wealth," he said.
