ADAG's healthcare firm Medybiz to expand into 22 areas

Medybiz, a disease management company of Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, announced expansion of its services to 22 locations, including 12 tier-II cities, in the country in the next three months.

Full-fledged operations will soon start in Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Vijaywada, Vishakapatnam, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Patna, Siliguri, Rajkot and Surat. Medybiz' current network across 10 cities include Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Ahmedabad said a release.

Medybiz is currently establishing unique chronic-care infrastructure, which will include a multi-disciplinary team of chronic-care professionals and a national call centre with round the clock access to patient relationship managers to advice on chronic ailments.

Medybiz is focusing on 12 major chronic ailments as part of its disease management service portfolio which include diabetes, arthritis, asthma, chronic lung disease, cancers, heart diseases and parkinson's disease.

Medybiz disease management programme is based on the module of supporting the existing partnership between the doctor and their patient who will be serviced by Medybiz's chronic-care professionals, said the release.
