Tatas to buy Nano land for Rs 400 cr

The Gujarat government on Wednesday decided to allot land at Rs 400 per sq meter to Tata Motors [Get Quote] for setting up Nano plant in Sanand in Gujarat.

The company will acquire 1,100 acres of land for the proposed project for Rs 400.65 crore (Rs 4.01 billion).

The state cabinet today approved the proposal.
