Is this the right time to buy stocks? Tell us

January 22, 2008

The bloodbath continues unabated at the stock markets. After witnessing the largest loss -- at close of market -- of 1,408 points on Monday, the markets continue to sink further and further.  The Sensex saw its biggest intra-day fall on Tuesday -- losing 2,273 points to fall to 15,332 points. It has since then recovered some losses.

But many analysts believe that investors must not panic. The current crash offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to buy good stocks with strong fundamentals, they say. However, they warn investors to exercise caution while choosing stocks to buy. For those who own stocks, their advice is to stay invested.

The fundamentals of Indian companies still look good so the outlook for the future is bright, say analysts.

Do you believe that the markets will rise again? Do you think this is a good time to buy shares? Have you bought stocks during a crash? Which stocks do you think will be rewarding? Tell us your views!
