Bharti joins Rs 2 tn Mcap club; Mittal 4th trillionaire

Bharti Airtel [Get Quote] entered the coveted Rs 2 trillion club on Wednesday, joining the likes of Reliance Industries [Get Quote] and state-run ONGC [Get Quote], while its Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal became India's fourth trillionaire in rupee terms. 

Bharti Airtel's scrip surged 2.60 per cent on Wednesday to Rs 1,067 on the Bombay Stock Exchange in the afternoon trade taking its market capitalisation to Rs 2,02,627 crore (Rs 2,026.27 billion) in intra-day.
