Dismissing talks that he was running for presidency as speculation, software icon and Infosys Technologies Ltd chief mentor N R Narayana Murthy on Wednesday said one should not spend time debating hypothetical issues.

"I am not the person to comment on those things", said Murthy, considered the face of India's IT industry.

"This is all hypothetical... so, we should not spend time on hypothetical issues". "You have to ask the people who have said so (that he would make a good President)", Murthy told reporters when asked about reports that he was considering to run for President.
