The little Pug that made mobile company Hutch's television ad one of the most successful campaigns of our times will follow the new master Vodafone, which has acquired Hutchison Telecom's stake in the venture.

"The dog will follow Vodafone's network too (in advertisements)," Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin said when asked if the famous Pug will remain with the company. Earlier last month, Vodafone CEO (Emerging Markets) Paul Donovan had said, "Hutch is a great brand. But we are also committed to the Vodafone brand," while noting that the transition from one brand to the other may take a number of years.
