AI starts direct flights from Dammam to Chennai

Air India has started operating non-stop direct flights between Saudi Arabia's Dammam and Chennai. Services would be conducted on every Monday and Thursday to Chennai which is Air-India's 7th destination from Dammam, Deepak Anand, Air India manager in Eastern Province, told Arab News on Monday.

Airfare for Rs 100 and less!

Air India also plans to introduce two additional flights, one each to Delhi and Hyderabad by July 2007, which will be followed by additional flights each to Thiruvananthapuram and Calicut, he added.

Anand was speaking on the occasion of the airline's 75th year of international operations and the 37th year of operations to the Eastern Province.
