Should IIMs be granted complete autonomy? April 27, 2007 With the government considering a new Bill to make the Indian Institutes of Management answerable to Parliament, India Inc leaders say that the time has come to grant complete autonomy to these institutes and set up an independent regulator to oversee the education sector.
