Arzoo.com launches operations in Bangalore, Gandhinagar

Arzoo.com, a leading online travel portal promoted by Sabeer Bhatia, is in an expansion mode and has launched it Bangalore operations on Tuesday. Headquartered in Mumbai, this is the third branch office of Arzoo.com.

Arzoo.com is an one stop shop for travel, where customers get all their needs taken care of when planning a trip.

"Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, has among the savviest customers who know how to use internet technologies to get the best deals. We at Arzoo.com offer the best travel deals. However even an online model needs off-line support for fulfillment. Considering the importance of the Bangalore market, we have decided to open an office which will help in providing the complete Arzoo experience to our customers," Amal Purandare, head - india operations of Arzoo.com, said in a press release.

"Arzoo.com also offers customised corporate travel management programmes and Bangalore being the hub of some of the biggest Indian and international companies in the technology space, we believe that a lot of these would be interested in the kind of value for money deals that we offer to our corporate clients. This then will also be a focus area for our Bangalore operations," Sameer Patil, head-marketing, Arzoo.com, added.

The Bangalore office will be headed by Rishan Muraleedharan, who brings along more than 10 years experience about the travel industry. The team will provide a local presence and faster turnaround time in meeting customers' travel needs.

Arzoo.com has recently launched its operations in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, too. "Gujarat has a huge potential as far as the travel industry is concerned. Barring the metros, Gujarat ranks amongst the top region for online travel services and we expect tremendous response from this region. Gujaratis are among the savviest customers in the world, and given the fact that Arzoo offers the most cost-effective travel solutions, I believe we will an increasing percentage of our business coming from Gujarat," Purandare said.
