March 17, 2005 16:50 IST
Six Indian companies have joined a select group of certified BPO providers in the world following a certification by GMI, a leading provider of integrated software and service solutions for market research.

GMI announced that six BPO vendors in India have achieved Net-MR Certification, which allows the companies to join a select group of offshore BPO vendors and to stand out from India's increasingly crowded and competitive outsourcing marketplace, a PRNewswire-Asianet release said on Thursday.

The companies awarded the Net-MR certification are New Delhi-based Annik Systems Pvt Ltd, Bangalore's Cross-Tab Marketing Services, Dexterity Business Analysis (Chennai), Ugm Solutions of Mumbai, Whizkit of Haryana and Infotek Netalia Ltd.

"Net-MR certification ensures these companies have expertise in market research skills, including questionnaire authoring, multi-mode data collection and data analysis," Suresh Subbiah, GMI's director of global projects, said.

"Achieving Net-MR certification is not easy, neither is retaining that certification. Each of these six providers has agreed to ongoing monitoring, testing and training in order to ensure that their services and quality remain world class," GMI's CEO Robert Monster said.
