The board of the capital market regulator, Securities and Exchange Board of India will meet in Delhi on Tuesday to consider among other issues the recent trends in the stock market.

The board would also discuss the plans for the proposed headquarter building at Bandra-Kurla complex, SEBI sources said in Mumbai on Monday.

The board would review the market developments as part of regular agenda, they said.

The meeting is the first one after stock market witnessed a surge in volatility in the recent past and Reserve Bank of India [Get Quote] had expressed concern over nature of Foreign Institutional Investments in India.
