Air India gets Cabinet nod to buy 68 aircraft December 15, 2005 20:24 IST The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the purchase of 68 aircraft by the country's flagship carrier Air India, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said on Thursday. "In-principle approval has been given subject to final price negotiations by an empowered group of ministers (eGoM)," he said after the CCEA meeting.
