24/7 Customer opens 1,700 seats facility

Outsourced contact centre and BPO services provider 24/7 Customer has announced the expansion of its partnership with insurance company Aviva [Get Quote] with the opening of the new 1,700 seats dedicated facility in Bangalore.

The facility is spread over 1,75,000 square feet and will offer services in life insurance as well as motor insurance, 24/7 Customer said in a statement.

The relationship between 24/7 Customer and Aviva commenced in April 2003 to serve British customers, with the setting up of a separate subsidiary by 24/7 Customer.

The relationship has grown to 1,100 people servicing UK and Canadian operations of Aviva in the last two and half years. The new 1,700 seats facility was established to manage growth, the statement said.

24/7 Customer has signed a new relationship with Aviva to start its operations in Chennai. The Chennai centre would be a 1,800 seats one that will serve the UK market of Aviva. The operations will commence in February 2006.
