After the big success of the first Investor Meet in Mumbai, Equitymaster.com has announced the 2nd Investor Meet to be held in Pune on August 27, 2005. Five top Indian companies will be represented by their top executives at this event.

Investors have a chance to meet them face-to-face and ask them questions, before they decide to invest in these firms and before they buy into the firms' vision.

The presentations by the companies will outline their history, their present business plan and, most importantly, their vision of the future. A 30-minute question and answer session will give the investors their first opportunity to question the companies on their business plans -- something which has been an exclusive privilege of the FIIs and large domestic institutional investors.

This interface with retail investors will allow them to better understand their businesses and allow the investors to make more informed investment decisions.

The Investor Meet is organised by Equitymaster.com, known for its unbiased and credible equity research. rediff.com is the online media partner for the event. NDTV Profit is also participating in the event in the capacity of the electronic media partner. The event has been sponsored by ICICIDirect.com and the Bombay Stock Exchange.

For registration, call Sajid at 98507-17652 or register online at http://www.equitymaster.com.

The details of the event are:

Date: 27th August 2005 (Saturday)
Time: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm
Venue: Hotel Le Meridien, Pune

Registration fees: Rs 1,000 per head. Special early bird fee of Rs 750!

(Fees include dockets of the presentations made by the speakers, lunch and tea).
