Over 300 companies from around the world are expected to participate in the business process outsourcing summit to be organised by the National Association of Software and Service Companies in Bangalore.

The two-day Nasscom ITeS-BPO Strategy Summit will begin on June 9.

The focus of the summit will be on sustaining the competitive advantage and best practices for the ITeS-BPO industry, a statement by Nasscom said.

"The $3.5 billion Indian ITeS-BPO industry is approaching maturity with both MNCs and local companies expanding the depth and breath of their service offerings. For the first time, a summit in India will provide a platform for both third-party and captive vendors to understand and discuss key issues to sustaining the competitive advantage," Nasscom President Kiran Karnik said.
