June 04, 2004 15:56 IST

Aiming to tap India's growing business process outsourcing market, global HR services firm Manpower has launched an ITeS division to provide customised HR services to the ITeS industry in the country.

"The ITeS sector is poised to grow exponentially. This will require immense talent pool. Manpower's ITeS division will address an entire range of HR requirements for call centres, contact centres and back office functions," K Subramanian, general manager-ITeS division, Manpower, said in a release on Friday.

Manpower ITeS division will facilitate significant cost savings for clients through reduced turnaround times, better conversion and a reduced attrition rate, he said.

Pointing at the high attrition rate in the Indian ITeS sector, he said: "Manpower will also introduce proprietary assessment methodologies that intend to find the right fit and minimise the attrition problem at the selection stage."

Manpower ITeS division has offices in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, and the company is planning to set up ITeS operations in Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune and other towns.
