Computerised rail reservation at 74 more locations

The Computerised Rail Passenger Reservation System would be extended to 74 new locations from the existing 1,100 during the financial year 2004-2005, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad said while presenting the Railway Budget in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

As of now, 97 per cent of the total rail reservation is done through computerised passenger reservation system spread across the Indian Railway network.
