Infy BPO arm in pact with UK's Hazell Carr

Progeon, the business process outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Ltd announced on Thursday a strategic alliance with Hazell Carr of the UK, according to a press release.

Outsourcing and India: Complete Coverage

Clients in the life and pensions market will be offered an integrated onshore/offshore outsourcing option under which work will be performed at either company's location best suited for clients.

Hazell Carr is a leading business process management company based in the United Kingdom providing services to life assurance companies and corporates with pension schemes.

It also offers short-term outsourcing in areas such as endowment complaints.

Akshaya Bhargava, chief executive officer of Progeon said, "This is a fundamentally different model from what is available in the market today. The combination of world class process skills, deep domain knowledge and a best shore operations model has unique benefits and far reaching implications for the UK customers."
