Air Sahara's new ticket options

January 27, 2004 19:57 IST

Private domestic airline Air Sahara on Tuesday launched two new tickets options and reintroduced the 'Sixer' and 'Super Sixer' options in an attempt to further boost passenger traffic.

The two new four-coupon 'Square Drive' economy class and 'Super Four' business class ticket option (apparently drawing inspiration from cricket) have been priced at Rs 24,000 and Rs 32,000, respectively.

Each option has a validity of 90 days.

The re-launched six coupon 'Sixer' for the economy class and 'Super Sixer' for business class would cost Rs 33,000 and Rs 43,500, respectively, with a validity of 120 days from the date of issue.

The scheme would be available till July 31, 2004, an Air Sahara press release said in New Delhi.

It would also be applicable to all its Cosmos frequent flier members who would receive regular mile benefits.

The scheme would be valid for all sectors on the Air Sahara network.

However, for connections to Dibrugarh and Kochi, the scheme would be applicable only if the passenger spends two coupons for each one-way sector.

Air Sahara CEO U K Bose said the new schemes were introduced in response to the customer feedback received for the earlier marketing initiatives.

"As part of our strategic planning, we look forward to passing on the benefits of cheaper air travel to our valued passengers through innovative offers on a regular basis," Bose said.
