Sebi cancels registration of 4 NSE brokers

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has cancelled registration of four National Stock Exchange brokers with immediate effect.

The four NSE members whose registration has been cancelled are Investment Securities India, Guru Holdings Pvt Ltd, Smart Investment Consultants and Shreeji Finvest, Sebi said in a release in Mumbai on Wednesday.

These four broking entities were expelled from the stock exchanges and ceased to be members of the bourse and thus, failed to fulfill the pre-requisite condition for registration as stockbroker with the capital market regulator, the release said.
