Choksi, Sen at Deloitte helm

Accountancy and consultancy outfit Deloitte Haskins and Sells has informed that its co-chairmen NV Iyer and Y H Malegam will retire on March 31.

Following their retirement Dileep Choksi and Udayan Sen will take over as joint managing partners on April 1, 2004.

The succession process was initiated more than six months ago and the proposal was endorsed by all the partners of the firm spread over its thirteen offices, said Deloitte Haskins and Sells in a press statement.

Deloitte Haskins and Sells is a merged entity representing the integrated practices of S.B Billimoria & Co, CC Choksi & Co, Fraser and Ross and P C Hansotia & Co and a member firm of the global major Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

Choksi was employed with CC Choksi & co and Sen was a part of S.B Billimoria post-merger in 1999.
