Maruti to hike prices in January

December 01, 2004 14:43 IST

Maruti Udyog Ltd, India's biggest car maker, on Tuesday said that it plans to increase the prices of its car models next month.

"We are considering a raise in prices in January 2005," a company official said.

The company might be planning to increase prices to meet rising input costs and new emission norms, set to come into force soon, industry experts said.
