IA cuts Mumbai-Bangalore fare

Indian Airlines has introduced a lower fare for specific flights operating on Mumbai-Bangalore sector and one Delhi-Mumbai flight.

The rates for IC 103 Mumbai-Bangalore flight have been revised to Rs 3,900 for economy class (against a normal fare of Rs 4,605) and Rs 5,600 (Rs 6,605) for executive class, the airline said in a release on Friday.

This special fare, which would be available till June 30, 2004, would also be available for travel on IC 110 and IC 104 flights on the same sector, it said.

In case of Delhi-Mumbai IC 606, the rates have been fixed at Rs 5,065 (Rs 6,575) for the economy class and it would be available up to July 31, 2004.
