BSE, NSE open on Saturday

The Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange will remain open for trading on Saturday.

The BSE said that trading on April 17 will begin at 10:00 a.m. and go on till 02:10 p.m..

The trading on April 17 will be settled on April 20, 2004, the BSE said.

The NSE too would hold a three-hour live trading session on Saturday from 11 a.m.

The special session, in which trading will take place in both cash and derivatives segments, is being held to test and upgrade its Chennai back-up facility, the NSE said.
