Forex reserves up at $87.856 bn

India's forex reserves rose to $87.856 billion as on September 12, from $87.365 billion a week earlier, the Reserve Bank of India said in its weekly statistical supplement on Saturday.

While the foreign currency assets gained $84,132 million on September 12 as against $83,642 million on September 5, gold was flat at $3,720 million.
