Nikhil Daswani, scion of Charagh Din, a leading apparel brand, has been charged with kidnapping, assaulting and wrongful confinement of a female friend recently at Gamdevi in central Mumbai.

Nikhil is the son of Raju Daswani, managing director of Charagh Din.

According to police, 26-year-old Nikhil Daswani allegedly drove his former girlfriend, Kavita Lakhani, to his flat after a party despite her strong protest and assaulted her for turning down his proposal.
