Close on the heels of inking a pact with State Bank of India, ICICI Bank on Monday has tied up with Andhra Bank to share their ATM network.

The country's largest private bank has a network of 1,725 ATMs while the number stood at 242 for the public sector banking entity, giving customers an access to almost 2,000 ATMs, ICICI Bank said in a release.

Recently ICICI Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding with SBI, which has an ATM network of 2,000 units.

The private bank has seen a sharp rise in the usage of ATMs and other electronic channels by customers in the recent past. At present, the bank witnesses more than 70 per cent of its transactions on electronic channels as against only five per cent usage less than three years ago, it said.
