Pune-based Kinetic Engineering on Wednesday launched its four-stroke Velocity motorcycle targetting the executive segment.

Priced at a uniform ex-showroom price of Rs 38,300, the two-wheeler major is expecting to reach sales of 10,000 to 12,000 units a month by March next year, Sulajja Firodia Motwani, joint managing director, Kinetic Engineering, told newspersons in Mumbai.

She expects the sales to touch 100,000 units in the next fiscal.

With the executive segment growing at a rate of 20 per cent per annum, the company has decided to introduce the 115 cc bike in this segment, she added.

She said exports of its two wheelers are expected to double to 100,000 units this fiscal.
