June 17, 2003 18:36 IST

Arun Duggal, chief financial officer of the Noida-based software services company HCL Technologies, has resigned.

"He is leaving to pursue other opportunities," a company spokesperson said on Tuesday, adding "we are not contemplating inducting a CFO in the short-term".

When contacted, Duggal said, "I am planning to leave HCL Technologies to start something of my own, but it is very early to announce it."
