Kedar, arrested on May three, was first remanded to police custody till May 8 which was further extended to May 10.

He was hospitalised after complaining of abdominal pain and could not be produced in the court on May 10.

After hearing the defence counsel on May 10, the Joint Civil Judge Junior Division and JMFC S A Ali remanded him to magisterial custody till on Monday.

The court had also asked the investigation officer Bele to produce Kedar today and submit all relevant medical records of his treatment.

When contacted, medical officer Rajesh Gattani said Kedar needs to be in the hospital for further observation and medication since he is suffering from renal calculus or kidney stone.
