Prabhu to hold addl charge of heavy industry ministry

Union Power Minister, Suresh PrabhuMinister of Power Suresh Prabhu will hold additional charge of the ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises following resignation of Manohar Joshi who is set to become the next Lok Sabha Speaker.

A Rashtrapati Bhavan communique said that the President while accepting the resignation of Joshi has directed Prabhu to hold additional charge of the ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises with immediate effect.
