Dhirubhai Ambani's condition remains critical

The condition of Reliance Industries chairman Dhirubhai Ambani continued to be 'critical' for the fourth day on Friday but his 'vital parameters were stable', hospital sources said.

"We are closely monitoring the parameters," director of Breach Candy hospital Vernon D'sa told reporters in Mumbai.

"If there is anything special, Anil Ambani, RIL managing director and Dhirubhai's son, will convey it to you," he said.

However, Anil, who visited the hospital in the morning, did not address the media.

Dhirubhai was admitted to the hospital on June 24 after he suffered a cerebral stroke.

Among early visitors at the hospital were Niranjan Hiranandani, chief of Hiranandani Constructions.
