Pak to be taught a lesson if it does not stop cross-border terrorism: SinhaUnion Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha on Friday said India would teach an appropriate lesson to Pakistan if it did not stop aiding and abetting cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. "If Pakistan does not take steps to root out cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir as told by India, the country will teach it an appropriate lesson," Sinha said after inaugurating an air service between Ranchi and Kolkata at the Birsa Munda Airport. "If Pakistan does not abstain from what it is doing in Jammu and Kashmir, a full-scale war against it will only serve it right," Sinha said. "To recall what Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee said on this recently, the war with Pakistan this time will not remain inconclusive but will be taken to its logical end," he said. He said he was often asked whether a war with Pakistan would have an adverse impact on the country's economy. "My set reply to this question is war with a neighbour does not augur well for the country's economy, but national security is something, which cannot be compromised at any cost," he said.
