AIDS drug exempt from excise duty
With effect from 1 March 2002
The Union Budget 2002-03 has exempted specified anti-AIDS drugs from excise duty with effect from 1 March 2002.
This was revealed by Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha while presenting the Union Budget 2002-03 to Parliament on Thursday.
