Hexaware wins $22.65 million contract

Indian software services provider Hexaware Technologies Ltd said on Monday it had won a 22 million euro ($22.65 million) order from Deutsche Leasing.

The contract is for assisting Deutsche Leasing in the restructuring and modernising its European information technology operations, the Madras-based company said in a statement.

The order is to be completed by December 2004.

"Hexaware will be the partner responsible for the core architecture and the development of a major part of the IT applications portfolio," Hexaware said.

Hexaware's shares were up 18 per cent in late afternoon trade at the Bombay Stock Exchange in a flat market.
