Sebi clears 31 scrips for futures trading

Sebi on Wednesday released the list of stocks eligible for futures trading. According to a notice put up on the website of the market regulator, both the major exchanges - BSE and NSE - have applied for the approval of contracts, and have indicated that they are ready to start trading on or before Diwali.

The list of scrips identified for futures trading is as follows: ACC, Bajaj Auto, BHEL, BSES, Cipla, Digital Globalsoft, Dr. Reddy's, Grasim, Gujarat Ambuja, HLL, HPCL, Hindalco, HDFC, ICICI, Infosys, ITC, L&T, M&M, MTNL, Ranbaxy, Reliance, Reliance Petro, Satyam, SBI, Sterlite Optics, Telco, Tata Power, Tisco, Tata Tea and VSNL.
