2. To register to the Contest, the user should message "RT" or "ERT" as applicable, using his/ her mobile phone to no."7333" upon understanding and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Contest. If the user has registered by submitting his/ her mobile no. to Rediff, then his/her reply to the first SMS will be considered as the confirmed registration;

3. Registration presumes that the users have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions (including modifications thereto)

4. Once registered, the user may receive a set of three ringones & questions through SMS daily on the mobile number through which the user has registered to the Contest;

5. Such questions may continue to be sent on the user's mobile phone daily during the term of the contest, unless the user decides to exit the contest prior to the term of the contest;

6. The questions may be based on the subject of songs;

7. The answers to the questions would have to be selected by the user from the options given in the questions. On selection of the answer which the user feels right, the user should send the option selected to no."7333". Only if the user answers the question irrespective of the answer being correct or in correct will the next question to the user follow.

8. On selection of every right answer to a question, the user will gain credit as winning points. The winning points will be accumulated to the credit of the user on a daily basis, which shall be maintained and monitored by Rediff;

9. With effect from July 3 ,2003,each ,each week during the term of the contest, Rediff shall conduct draws for various slabs of points (in units) to announce the winners for the week. The winners shall be intimated through SMS message on the given mobile number on a weekly basis. The random draw will be conducted by Rediff as per its choice. Rediff shall not entertain any questions, enquiries on the manner of conduct of the lucky draw and the contest itself from any party whatsoever

10. The winners shall win prizes as announced by Rediff from time to time. The selection of prizes is as per the sole discretion of Rediff. Rediff reserves its rights to modify the terms and conditions of the Contest, prizes, etc., without notice to the users;

11. The winner must claim his/ her prize within 15 days of the announcement by Rediff through SMS and on Rediff's website. Incase the prize is unclaimed by the winner within the stipulated period, then Rediff reserves its right to transfer the prize to the next winner chosen in the same draw. The first winner automatically surrenders his/ her right to the prize and shall not make any claim thereunder;

12. To exit the Contest, the user should message "RT Out" to no."7333";

13. Rediff is not responsible for any SMS message delivery failures; Sometimes, due to technical reasons, in case you do not receive SMS reply from 7333 within reasonable time, please send a repeat SMS with the same command to 7333 .

14. Rediff is not responsible for:- (i) any SMS message delivery failures; (ii) for any SPAM generated messages; (iii) for the Operator code not being displayed on the users's mobile phone;

15. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Mumbai.

16. The user shall be charged by the concerned Mobile Phone Operator for every SMS message sent by the user from his/ her mobile phone for the Contest and for Ringtone downloads as applicable. The user agrees and acknowledges that this charge is the liability of the user alone and that Rediff is not responsible for the same nor does the user have any recourse to Rediff for the same. The user may register to the Contest at his/ her will and discretion.
