Video: Kate and William's royal baby boy

July 24, 2013 08:20 IST

The world had the first glimpse of the royal baby as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerged with their newborn from St Mary’s Hospital in London.

Britain's new prince made his debut in the arms of his mother. Beaming, Prince William and Kate stopped outside the hospital as they left for home to allow the public their first peek at the young royal.

Speaking to the hundreds of people that have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the royal baby, Prince William said that they are still working on the name of the baby. When asked who the baby looks like, Prince William had this to say, "He's got her (Kate) looks, thankfully."

A smiling Kate, wearing a baby blue polka dot dress, carried the future monarch outside the Hospital so that he could be photographed by the dozens of international press members waiting outside.
