India welcomes 2013 in full spirit and enthusiasm

Hoping to live in a country that is safer for women, people across India celebrated New Year in full spirit and enthusiasm. While people were seen singing and enjoying on the streets in Bangalore, locals and tourists in Mumbai said that the town was overjoyed to celebrate the New Year.

Meanwhile, thousands of foreign tourists were seen thronging to Goa, for grand celebrations of the New Year. Scores of tourists also came to Manali from different parts of the country to enjoy the festive season.
