Renowned couturier, JJ Valaya’s breathtaking designs enticed the fashionistas at a bridal extravaganza in the capital recently.
Valaya's set was a picture-perfect presentation of the golden Mughal Era with white royal umbrellas depicting the scene of royal king’s court and models sitting on the thrones wearing white ensembles and chunky Indian jewellery. The background scores of birds chirping followed by a scintillating classical Kathak performance transported the viewers into a different world.
Models flounced down the runway in attires of floral prints that harmonised with Indian Jamawar in paisley pattern. It also displayed grandeur of Indian Jewels juxtaposed with beautiful ensembles like saris, long-collard coats over saris in ivory.
