A vulture eating a leg of spotted dear perched atop a tree at Corbett Tiger Reserve

We invited readers to share their favourite travel pictures. Here are the responses we received!

First up is Amol Karande's picture of a vulture atop a tree chomping a leg of a spotted dear killed by predators at the Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand. Amol says he loves travelling and has special interest in wildlife.

"When we reached the spot the predators had already killed the spotted dear. After they had their share the remaining was left to the scavengers. Vultures waiting for their turn swooped on the dead animal. One of the vultures picked up his share and flew away with the leg piece."

"We followed the tigress but she did not like our movements, raised her tail and looked behind to show her disapproval."
