First up we have this image from Rana Shankar Shaw, who says, "I took a recent trip with my family to Mandermoni, a secluded beach weekend getaway near Digha in West Bengal. It has the longest motorable beach in India, approximately 14 kilometres. This pic was taken in the swimming pool of the resort where we stayed."

Next we have this one from Pramod Kumar, taken at City Park in Greater Noida. "Water is a rare commodity these days and this crow came to this shut-off fountain for some precious drops," he says.

Vijay Paramanik of Varanasi sent in this one, saying, "This photograph was captured at Assi Ghat of Banares (Varanasi), India. It's a hot summer here, but the ghats are still cool and shiny in the morning."

"This pic was taken from taken from the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest tower in the world," says Nithin Gangadharan. "It shows Sheikh Zayed Road from the Burj Khalifa observatory."

And finally, we have this pretty image from Pankaj Goel, who says, "I have taken this pic on our lawn when it ws bright with sunshine. The butterfly was spreading its wings and basking in the sun."
