Unusual summer pics: Into the blue!
We invited you to send in unique summer-themed photographs -- odd scenes that are captured on a lens for posterity -- to share with other readers. Here are a few more responses!
First up we have this image from Abhishek Sharma, who says, "This has been taken at the Andamans, in the midst of the sea. In summer, it looked like the blue heavens and I felt like never coming out!"

"This picture was taken in May last year at Shanti Stupa of Ladakh, located on the hilltop at Changspa, 1 km from Leh. It was peak summertime and the weather was a beautiful mixture of chilly yet sunny days and very cold nights," explains Lakshmi.
Sunrise serenity
And finally, here is one from Neelabja Dutta, who says, "This pic was taken on a beach in Pondicherry. It was early morning and the sands were deserted. Only a fisherman's boat was tied and bobbing on the waves in the shallows."
